A great informative post for everyone. We need to keep the awareness up. This is a pivitol election.
More people should participate in municipal elections, but sadly most don't pay attention to what the issues are.
For a second I thought you knew something about a Federal Election that I didn't know ! :-)
Kathy...this was very interesting to read. wonder, are your municipal elections similar to our school and local leaders that can be during the Presidential vote or the Off-year vote.
Good localism that you post.
Have a good weekend.
Barb & Sal
Paula - for us it just might be as there should be some good races to watch
Malcolm - While far from great the voter turnout in Uxbridge is usually higher than the average.
Liz - watch for it they are all posturing and getting ready
Barb and Sal - similar but different ..... they used to be every three years now they are every four ..... we get to elect: a local municipal councilor, a regional councilor and a mayor there is also a school board trustee for one or the other of our two school boards depending on which one your property taxes support (separate or public) and one each for the French language Boards.
